Chloe May Marks

Chloe is a professional dancer from North Dublin.  She started dancing professionally in 2015 and has been training consistently throughout the years. Chloe has trained with Fly Dance Company directed by Kerrie Milne and Meta training directed by Amy Ford. 

Chloe specialises in commercial, heels and hiphop choreography and has trained other styles over the years including jazz and tap. 

Chloes dance credits include The UEFA Europa League Final opening ceremony in the Aviva stadium (Mass Movement Agency and Storm Creatives) The Gaiety Production of Peter Pan (Choreographed by Daryn Crosby)  The LCN Awards (dancer- Locked Creative - Choreographer Johnny White) The Late Late Show (dancer) (Spotlight productions). The Olympia Panto 2015-2022 as a principal dancer 

Chloe has been teaching dance all across Ireland in the last 5 years and loves sharing her experience and love for dance to the younger generation.

Maya Subocheva

Maya is a professional dancer, choreographer and dance instructor with 15 years of dance experience and 4 years of teaching experience. Her main styles include Jazz Funk, Commercial and Heels.

 

She has performed and competed at major events including World of Dance, Hip Hop International and Feel the Beat, and has worked on music videos and live performances with Ukrainian artists such as MONATIK, TVORCHI and Antytila. Maya has also performed at the M1 Music Awards.

 

Throughout her teaching career, Maya has taught Jazz Funk in both Ukraine and Warsaw, working with dancers of different levels and helping them develop their technique, confidence and individuality. Now based in Dublin, she continues to grow as a performer, choreographer and teacher, bringing her passion, energy and creativity to every project she takes on. 

Alysia Arkins (Independently Judging)

With 11 years of dedicated experience as a teacher at Arkins Dance Academy, Alysia brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the judging panel for her first time with Starlight Dance Competition. Specialising in Acro and Lyrical, she is deeply committed to giving back to the dance community by providing constructive, empowering feedback that helps young dancers build confidence, technique, and artistry.

Alysia has trained numerous All-Ireland, European, and World champions. Her school and students have received widespread recognition, including awards for Visionary, Teacher of the Year, Professional of the Year, Dance School of the Year, Choreographer of the Year, Outstanding Performance, and multiple excellence awards spanning Acro, Jazz, and Lyrical. Furthermore, her students consistently shine on competitive stages, earning prestigious individual honours such as Hall of Fame awards, Stars of the Future, and countless Dancer of the Year titles.

Alysia is thrilled to join Starlight Dance Competition and looks forward to celebrating the hard work, talent, and growth of every competitor stepping onto the stage.
